"Stagnation and Growth" (停滞と成長, Teitai to Seichō, Tonari: 118) is the seventy-seventh chapter of the One-Punch Man manga series.
Summary
Saitama is reflecting on himself when he comes across King on a deserted street. The two share a deep conversation, during which King offers Saitama some insightful advice. He tells Saitama that while he may be the most powerful hero, that alone does not make him the best hero. King then invites Saitama to play video games and promises to play using only two fingers, to which Saitama responds that this time, he will surely win against the handicapped King.
Meanwhile, an injured Garou has fled after his defeat by Watchdog Man. Garou reflects that although his techniques were intended for fighting humans, Watchdog Man fought like a quadruped, and with his power, was able to easily counter Garou's attacks. Garou eventually stumbles upon Saitama and King and decides to attack King. Just as he is about to strike, Saitama kicks him and sends him crashing into a brick wall. Saitama then tells King that he hopes to one day face the Human Monster, unaware that it is actually Garou, and adds that the monster might turn out to be stronger than him.
