Long Summary
Darkshine sits on the ground with a sorrowful expression as the other heroes approach. Puri-Puri Prisoner and Zombieman are shocked to learn of his defeat by Garou. Darkshine recounts the encounter, admitting his complete loss and warning that Garou will return stronger than ever.
Deep underground, Garou rises from beneath a mass of concrete. He wonders why every defeat makes him stronger and realizes he's getting closer to becoming the monster he seeks. He envisions himself as the embodiment of despair, determined to reshape the world and begins transforming further.
When Sweet Mask finds Darkshine overwhelmed by self-doubt, he reacts in anger. He kicks Darkshine repeatedly, trying to force him to remember what it means to be a hero, even in failure. Moved by his fellow heroes, Darkshine resolves to fight once more. Atomic Samurai then suggests they join forces to defeat the Monster Association's leader. Soon after, Tanktop Master arrives, and they continue planning their next move.
