"The Power of Boros" (ボロスの本領, Borosu no Honryō, Tonari: 46 + 47) is the thirty-sixth chapter of the One-Punch Man manga series.
Short Summary
Saitama's battle with Boros reaches its climax as the hero uses a Serious Punch to overpower Boros' final attack, ending the fight in victory.
Long Summary
Boros believes Saitama has taken damage from the attack and begins boasting about his incredible regenerative abilities. He explains that his home planet has harsh environments and that his species adapted by developing powerful regeneration, claiming that Saitama will eventually tire and lose. Saitama simply tells him to shut up and asks if he is done fighting, which triggers Boros. Boros then activates Meteoric Burst, attacking him and then landing a devastating kick that sends Saitama flying all the way to the Moon.
Below, Boros explains that Meteoric Burst is his trump card, meant to quickly finish a fight, and that Saitama has forced him to go all out. Meanwhile, on the Moon, realizing Boros is fighting with everything he has, Saitama decides to take the fight a little more seriously. He leaps back from the moon to the ship, landing with such force that the ship suffers damage but remains afloat. Seeing Saitama return, Boros launches a relentless barrage of attacks, none of which harm Saitama. The hero counters with a punch that knocks Boros back, then immediately follows up with his Consecutive Normal Punches, tearing Boros apart. Boros instantly regenerates and, as a last resort, unleashes his most powerful attack, Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, a massive energy blast meant to destroy Saitama and wipe out the planet's surface. In response, Saitama uses a killer move, Serious Punch, which completely overpowers Boros's attack and delivers a fatal blow.
As Boros lies dying but still conscious, Saitama tells him he was incredibly strong. Boros realizes that Saitama never fought at full power and acknowledges that he is far too powerful. With that, Saitama leaves while Boros finally passes away.
