Long Summary

The Surface Team heroes are eliminating numerous low-level monsters attempting to escape underground. Building Booper, a Demon-level threat, appears and obstructs the Striking Team heroes' escape route by collapsing multiple buildings with explosives.

Child Emperor's group eventually locates the exit manhole leading to the surface, but it is blocked by two collapsed buildings above it. Together, Saitama, Child Emperor, Underdog Man, and Waganma push the manhole simultaneously to open it.

As Sekingar asks Green to create a new exit for Child Emperor, he and several other heroes are astonished when the two collapsed buildings and Building Booper are suddenly sent flying into the air. Child Emperor emerges with Waganma, Saitama, and Underdog Man. Unaware that it was Saitama's strength that opened the manhole, the heroes attribute it to Child Emperor's capabilities. Sekingar notices Saitama and questions Child Emperor about his identity. Child Emperor explains that he also rescued Saitama, calling him a hero. When Sekingar asks Saitama if he was taken hostage, Saitama nonchalantly replies that he only went underground to complain about the noise, which infuriates Sekingar. Sekingar angrily tells him to leave, and Saitama quietly returns underground.

Child Emperor uses his transmitter to inform the Striking Team heroes that Waganma is safe. Shortly after, Zombieman responds via the communication device, praising Child Emperor for a job well done. Delighted by Zombieman's response, Child Emperor listens as Sweet Mask interrupts, declaring that he will continue to uphold justice. Pig God also chimes in, noting while digesting something that everything seems normal. Finally, Atomic Samurai reports that he has found a child being pursued by a black monster inside the base, much to Child Emperor's shock. Waganma realizes the child must be Tareo. Before Child Emperor can ask Atomic Samurai for Tareo's location, the transmitter cuts off. Determined to rescue Tareo, Child Emperor prepares to go back, despite Waganma's protests. Waganma urges him to let others handle it, emphasizing that Child Emperor has already used his ultimate weapon to save him. However, Child Emperor remains resolute, rejecting help from Mizuki and Needle Star, as he insists they must guard the surface. Summoning his courage, Waganma reveals that the child is indeed Tareo, describing his appearance and admitting they were in the same cell. He apologizes for not telling Child Emperor sooner, explaining that fear held him back. Child Emperor thanks him for the information and reassures him before heading off to rescue Tareo.

The scene shifts to Atomic Samurai confronting Black Sperm. Black Sperm expresses outrage at being attacked without warning and mocks Atomic Samurai's introduction. Atomic Samurai dismissively states that he has no interest in Black Sperm, prompting the monster to grow a massive muscular arm in anger. When Black Sperm accuses Atomic Samurai of looking down on him, the hero confidently replies, "Yes," and swiftly slices the arm apart. Atomic Samurai remarks that he has faced countless shape-shifting enemies who transform into giants and is well-versed in fighting such opponents.

However, another Black Sperm clone emerges from the severed arm, much to Atomic Samurai’s annoyance. Black Sperm taunts him, revealing that he is a fusion of countless "Black Sperms" and boasts that he can multiply endlessly no matter how many times he's killed. Undeterred, Atomic Samurai declares that he will simply slash through the countless Black Sperm clones to win. He rapidly cuts Black Sperm into countless pieces, but the fragments regenerate into more clones, surrounding him on all sides. Atomic Samurai continues slashing, but the clones multiply further, overwhelming him. Eventually, Atomic Samurai finds himself surrounded by an enormous swarm of Black Sperm clones. Black Sperm declares that the fight is already over and that Atomic Samurai is going to die. Overwhelmed by sheer numbers, Atomic Samurai is pummeled to the ground, severely injured. Black Sperm mocks him, stating that he is the worst possible opponent for Atomic Samurai, who cannot win. Desperate, Atomic Samurai slashes at the ceiling, causing it to collapse on them all.

The powerful vibrations from the collapse are felt by Zombieman, who grows concerned about the battles the other heroes are facing. Suddenly, Homeless Emperor appears behind him, questioning his concern for the deaths of his fellow heroes. Before Zombieman can react, Homeless Emperor blasts him with a beam of energy at point-blank range. The attack is meant to demonstrate how the other heroes are being killed, "instant death without resistance." Homeless Emperor expresses disappointment at how quickly Zombieman was dispatched, proclaiming that he will kill all seventeen S-Class heroes alone. However, a regenerated Zombieman emerges from the smoke and charges at him with an axe, only to be countered and shot in the head with another concentrated energy blast.

Now disabled, Zombieman's decapitated body lies motionless before Homeless Emperor. As the villain stares at the body, a sudden gunshot rings out from Zombieman’s upper body. Homeless Emperor counters the attack with ease, sending Zombieman crashing into a wall. Zombieman questions how his opponent could react so quickly at such close range. Despite his injuries, Zombieman regenerates and pulls a pistol from within his body, firing multiple shots at Homeless Emperor. The villain retaliates with multiple energy orbs, which explode upon impact, leaving Zombieman’s charred body standing amid the smoke. Homeless Emperor mocks the hero, acknowledging his resilience and strength even in death.

Zombieman, barely regenerating, asks Homeless Emperor what he truly is. While partly stalling to buy time for his body to recover, he admits confusion about how Homeless Emperor’s attacks work. Homeless Emperor obliges, recounting his origin story. He explains that until a month ago, he was a homeless man living in a park, having lost his job, been evicted by his landlord, and shunned by society. He recalls being humiliated by his boss at a company party, only to be fired the next day on false allegations of harassment. Overwhelmed by despair, he found solace in nature, recognizing that the Earth and sky were far greater than anything man-made. He began to view humanity as insignificant compared to the grandeur of the Earth.

One day, Homeless Emperor had an epiphany: humans had abandoned the ecosystem created by Mother Earth and replaced it with artificial rules. He saw humans as foolish, destructive beings and became suicidal, believing death would reunite him with the Earth. At his lowest point, an entity he refers to as "God" appeared before him. "God" affirmed his views on humanity, granted him divine powers, and told him to use them to destroy human civilization. Homeless Emperor claims he was chosen because he knew "the answer", that humanity's existence harms the planet.

Zombieman, still regenerating, asks why Homeless Emperor believed the entity to be "God". Internally, Zombieman realizes that his body has yet to fully recover, leaving him vulnerable. Homeless Emperor, sensing Zombieman’s doubt, declares that belief is unnecessary; Zombieman’s arrogance will lead to his death and his return to the Earth.
