Long Summary
At the Hero Association, the staff discuss how to deal with the monster threat. Just as Mohican and Pineapple are cornered, Metal Knight arrives and draws the monster's attention. Bofoi tells the two heroes to leave while he tests his new weapons. As they retreat, however, they run into three more monsters, who also demand to know about the sponsors.
Elsewhere in the city, Metal Bat and Garou are locked in a fierce battle. Metal Bat charges at Garou with an attack, but Garou dodges. He is shocked by Metal Bat's persistence despite his many injuries, though he still believes Metal Bat has reached his limit. To Garou's surprise, Metal Bat's attack speed and striking power suddenly increase dramatically, and Garou's blows no longer seem to affect him.
Garou hurls a manhole cover at Metal Bat, who knocks it back with his bat. By the time Metal Bat completes the swing, Garou has already closed the distance. To counter Garou's assault, Metal Bat tackles him and throws him toward the rebounding manhole cover. Garou catches the cover and immediately unleashes a rapid barrage of strikes. Metal Bat tries to press the offensive, but none of his hits land. Garou mocks him, asking if he intends to keep fighting until he dies. Metal Bat responds that he will fight until he wins, then prepares a finishing move. Unfortunately, Garou deflects the attack and lands a powerful blow to Metal Bat's chest, knocking him to the ground.
Metal Bat is about to strike Garou again but freezes when he hears his sister calling out. Garou takes the opening to knock him down. Before they can resume fighting, Zenko, Metal Bat's sister, steps between them. She reminds Metal Bat of his promise not to fight in front of her and declares the battle over. Garou finds this ridiculous but eventually walks away, heading off to find Watchdog Man. Meanwhile, nearby monsters whisper about how they might use Garou to their advantage.
