Long Summary
Drive Knight has a flashback to five minutes before his arrival. From a distance, he watches the battle between Tatsumaki and the Psykos Orochi fusion unfold, showing interest in obtaining a sample of the fusion. However, his energy reserves are severely depleted from his earlier fight with Nyan. Across Z-City, the ground has been torn apart by Tatsumaki's powerful psychic attack. Among the wreckage, Drive Knight spots a heavily damaged underground energy cable. Determined to join the battle against the fusion, he drives his hand into the cable, siphoning its energy. This action causes a major power outage in the area but restores enough power for him to head to the battlefield.
Back in the present, the heroes are regrouping and planning their next move. Sweet Mask recounts his clash with Fuhrer Ugly, criticizing himself for "curling up like a baby" during the fight. The others glance at him, prompting Sweet Mask to believe they disapprove of him for requesting Tatsumaki's help during the battle. Child Emperor suggests he stay in the rearguard, but Sweet Mask takes it as an insult.
Fearing that news of his defeat could destroy his reputation as an idol hero, Sweet Mask considers killing everyone present and framing it on a monster attack. As he is about to reveal his true nature, Iaian interrupts, asking if he is alright. This triggers a memory of Blast, who once saved Sweet Mask from a monster. The similarity between Iaian and Blast's posture snaps him out of his murderous intent. Slamming his head into the broken concrete, he tells Iaian that his outfit wasn't matching as an excuse for his aggressive behavior, while making a final remark about needing to retain self-control.
