Short Summary
Garou continues battling Saitama but is easily overpowered. Garou's attack causes disturbances that Blast detects, prompting him to fix the dimensional seal against "God". Saitama defeats Garou, who reverts to his human form in despair. As lenticular clouds form, a mysterious figure grants Garou new abilities, transforming him into Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode.
Long Summary
Lightning Max instructs the heroes on the boat to search for Tareo, while Waganma is startled to see Pig God floating in the water, mistaking him for a drowned corpse. Meanwhile, Garou struggles against Saitama, unleashing a rapid barrage of punches that sends Saitama skyward. As Garou contemplates his aspiration to become "Absolute Evil," he notices Saitama casually deflecting his attacks with one hand, which infuriates him. He recalls the gratitude of those he unintentionally saved, feeling a surge of self-doubt and viewing himself as pathetic. Garou propels himself forward with his rear arms and launches an Extreme Fa Jin attack, driving both himself and Saitama deep into the mountain below. The force of the impact sends shockwaves through the Earth's mantle, causing land to rise on the opposite side of the planet. A stranded passenger plane is unexpectedly saved as the crust lifts.
In a different dimension, Blast detects the energy from the attack distorting the Earth's magnetic and gravitational fields. Fearing a potential breach in the dimensional seal they guard, he and his allies rush to reinforce it, determined to prevent "God" from breaking through.
Irritated, Saitama counters with Consecutive Normal Punches, launching Garou out of the mountain and obliterating it in the process. Confounded that none of his tactics are effective against the Caped Baldy, Garou reflects on the intentions of Sage Centipede, believing "The Abominable Fist That Turned Against God" concerns Saitama rather than himself. Saitama delivers another colossal punch, sending Garou crashing through several mountains and into the drained sea. Exhausted, Garou watches Saitama approach, denouncing him as the epitome of unfairness. Garou attempts one last strike, but Saitama's punch shatters his monstrous form, leaving him frustrated that he is defeated by an unbeatable unfairness despite his efforts to gain strength. At that moment, lenticular clouds form in the sky, and a voice calls to him. On land, Pig God has safeguarded numerous individuals within his stomach. Among them is the hefty Tanktop Master, who is greeted by Mumen Rider. The S-Class hero is relieved to see his hospital companion assisting, but everyone is alarmed by the mysterious clouds. An enormous foot descends onto the Earth, enveloped in thunderclouds. As the heroes observe the otherworldly scene in horror, another foot lands, and the enigmatic figure begins to walk. The figure confronts Garou, who, confused by the voice, hears it speak of his deepest wish crumbling at the hands of a single hero. Angered, Garou threatens the voice, but it persists.
Garou demands to see the figure's face. When it turns around, he sees Bang (impersonated by "God"), cloaked in darkness, extending a hand. As Garou appears to reach out to his former mentor, "God’s" colossal face emerges from the clouds, granting the Hero Hunter a new power. Saitama, watching from below, suddenly notices something descending from the sky. He stares at Garou, puzzled by his altered appearance, and squints in disbelief. Garou, now a void of stars and galaxies, prepares for another confrontation with Saitama, declaring his transformation as Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode.
