Long Summary

It is revealed by the Super Fight Announcer that Gouketsu is the champion of the first Super Fight. Gouketsu then explains his disappearance from several years ago. Orochi fought and defeated Gouketsu, but spared his life in exchange for his service to the Monster Association. Gouketsu accepted the deal, as the Monster Association also offered him immense power through the use of Monster Cells. After finishing his story, Gouketsu gives the martial artists a choice: either become monsters or die by his hand. Rosie quickly eats one of the cells and attacks the injured Dave. Choze responds by snapping Rosie's neck and then consumes one of the cells himself. After transforming, Choze knocks Jakumen out of the ring. Benpatsu, Hamukichi, and Volten follow by eating the cells as well. Suiryu turns to one of the civilians and asks if she would go on a date with him if he defeats the monsters, and she nods. With newfound motivation, Suiryu prepares to fight.

Suiryu approaches the martial artists who have become monsters. He easily defeats Benpatsu, Hamukichi, and Volten, but is then confronted by the monstrous form of Choze, who proves to be a tough opponent even for him. Suiryu manages to provoke Choze, prompting Choze to launch a blast of energy from his horns aimed at killing everyone in the arena. Suiryu successfully redirects the blast and resumes the fight. After defeating Choze, Suiryu confronts Gouketsu, who says it would be a waste to kill someone like him. He acknowledges Suiryu's strength and claims he could become a high-ranking monster if he switched sides, promising an easy life in return. For a moment, Suiryu appears to consider the offer and almost eats a monster cell, shocking and saddening the other fighters. However, he ultimately declares he has no intention of becoming an ugly monster like Gouketsu and launches an attack. The chapter ends with Gouketsu delivering a single powerful blow to Suiryu, which seemingly causes significant injury.
