Forte (フォルテ, Forute) is the A-Class Rank 31 professional hero of the Hero Association.

Appearance

Forte is a young man. He normally wears glasses, a hoodie, and a hat. He is always seen wearing headphones.

Forte's first appearance, somewhat different to how he currently looks.

Personality

When he first meets Saitama, Forte shows himself to be an arrogant individual. He is so confident in his own strength and superiority over Saitama that he challenges him to a duel.

After being hit by a Blizzard Group's car and hospitalized, Forte tempers his ardor. Seeing Saitama fight someone completely changes his mind about him, and he realizes the error of his ways in trying to befriend his former opponent.

Plot

Neo Heroes Saga

Psychic Sisters Arc

Butterfly DX, Chain'n'toad and Forte all go to greet Saitama as their new neighbour and superiors. After taking offense to Saitama's comment about his fighting style, Forte challenges Saitama to a duel.^[3] However, before the fight starts, he is run over by the Blizzard Group's car.^[4]After regaining consciousness in the hospital, Forte speaks with Chain'n'toad and Butterfly DX, who visit him. They reveal the truth - that he has actually been hit by a car and not defeated by Saitama, but Forte still realizes his wrongdoing.^[5]

After witnessing Saitama's power during his fight with Tatsumaki, he nervously postpones the rematch and begins to respect Saitama for his immeasurable strength.

Neo Heroes Introduction Arc

He is later seen building the dog house for Rover and Black Sperm. After meeting Saitama and Genos, he is informed that Genos is taking his room and he has to move out by the end of the day.^[6]

Neo Heroes Uprising Arc

Forte, Chain'n'toad, and Butterfly DX fulfill their deal with Saitama and spend time keeping an eye on Rover and Black Sperm.

Later, Forte talks to his friends about being invited to join a new hero organization called Neo Heroes. Saitama approaches them, and Forte asks him if recruiters have come to see him. At that moment, a group of heroes calling themselves the Hero Name Victims Association arrives to recruit Saitama.

Forte was among the many heroes summoned by McCoy to combat the monster that was devastating the Z-City police station. He arrives at the scene late, after Saitama has already killed the monster.^[7]

Abilities and Powers

As an A-Class hero, Forte is presumably a skilled and powerful fighter. His fighting style is based on the rhythm of his music. However, a car hitting him from behind knocked him unconscious and sent him to the hospital.

Fighting Style

Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Forte fights opponents with his bare hands.

• Rhythmic Fighter: Forte listens to music to help him get into a rhythm for battle. However, his weakness is that he's not always aware of his surroundings due to playing music with his headphones on. His volume was loud enough to make car honks unnoticeable.

Equipment

Headphones: Forte wears headphones all the time and when he gets into a fight, he turns on music that sets the rhythm for him to fight.
